Human resources generalist*position details*principal activities*- spearheading all stages of an employee lifecycle, including but not limited to recruitment, onboarding and off boarding activities.- administer all employee benefit programs, including enrollments and terminations.- provides advice to management regarding adherence to applicable federal, state, and local laws,- as well as policies and procedures and collective bargaining agreements; identifies innovative solutions and options to address complex human resource management issues.- promote healthy relationships between staff and management through mediation and handling labor disputes- partners with leadership to align hr strategy to business strategy- acts as change agent to business through process design and approaches that support change and transformation — striving to lead mutual processes to best practice status.- analyzes trends and metrics in partnership with hr peers to develop solutions, programs, and policies.- actively participates in the onboarding cycle to educate newly hired employees on hr policies, internal procedures, and regulations.- leads and/or supports annual hr cycle deliverables to include performance management; merit and bonus awards; benefits enrollment; etc- evaluate issues, patterns, and trends to provide proactive insights for hr solution and program training to address certain needs.- partners with payroll; hris; and compensation and benefits functions as needed to provide solutions for client- strong reporting experience using a variety of tools, such as excel, and hr technology.
