The ela teacher would teach our junior high and high school english language arts classes. This teacher will also take on routine responsibilities common to all pcs teaching staff, including overseeing study halls, attending staff meetings, and chapel.
qualifications:
* an enthusiastic, authentic, and vibrant christian faith
* a theological compatibility with pcs’s statement of faith (must agree and sign)
* fluency in written and spoken english
* a passionate commitment to k-12 education
* demonstrated leadership ability in an educational or other non-profit setting
* an ability to command the respect of all the school’s constituencies, especially the students and their parents, the teachers and staff, and the board
preferred requirements:
* state teaching license or acsi certification
* at least 3 years’ experience teaching jr. High/high school students
* professional experience in a cross-cultural educational setting
conversational spanish would be an advantage.
