About the team
our artist partnerships team looks after our relationships with all artists. Our goal is to inspire creativity and foster long lasting relationships with our partners by providing things such as a white glove service, in depth content strategy, elevation opportunities, and accessibility to all that tiktok has to offer. In addition we also oversee strategy and implementation of an artist-centric value proposition at tiktok, which includes elevation opportunities, establishing a series of artist education initiatives, driving artist communications plans, building and growing niche communities within the artist ecosystem through programs and events.
*responsibilities*:
- develop and manage a portfolio of mexican artists, especially regional mexican artists and labels. Driving strategic initiatives, platform optimization and best practices, and bolstering engagement and product activation
- provide strategic and operational support for regional mexican artists and labels on tiktok platforms while delivering excellent service to artists
- design, develop and launch strategic music initiatives to bring regional mexican artists and labels to tiktok platforms at scale
- review submitted demos and artist material; provide comprehensive feedback to the music team
- support and educate key partners on tiktok music tools and resources to inspire artists and improve their daily business
- establish a good working relationship with our cross-functional teams in product, programming, marketing, and pr, serving as a music consultant as needed
- identify and track key metrics, and translate data into insights and trends
- 5+ years of music industry experience, with a demonstrated track record of finding emerging artists with world-class talent and commercial potential
- data driven. Good at using numbers for strategic thinking
- you have a consistent track record in music marketing and operations, a deep understanding of the music industry, and have built relevant contacts with regional mexican labels and artists specifically
- you are well organized, dedicated, with the ability to plan and deliver on tight deadlines and pay outstanding attention to detail
- you have excellent communication and relationship building skills and time management skills
- you are a great teammate and always have a positive and humble attitude
