The specialist, bd - electronics role is responsible of all activities related to developing and executing our strategy of industrial automation technologies & solutions focused on the electronics, ems market and selected target accounts that help define the target market (end users, system integrators, oems).
*position duties and responsibilities*:
*activity & essential function identification*
- main focus on new business development into the electronics & ems
- generate annual sales per target objective in support of corporate budget.
- call on industry system integrators & consulting engineering companies with the goal of becoming specified for ia solutions.
- understand target market product trends and specifications and communicate requirements to sr. Management, product marketing and service solutions group.
- develop and maintain assigned client relationships at the management level using the highest professional standards.
- recruit new clients to generate new business opportunities.
- develop and conduct client presentations to attract new business and support overall corporate positioning; develop company capabilities presentations by vertical marketing working with commercial marketing in terms of graphics and execution.
- organize and lead internal operations teams to develop and finalize client proposals
- contribute with the research, develop sales, and marketing plans, including overall strategic and tactical directives, for assigned client companies.
- negotiate and maintain contracts for client projects.
- coordinate and integrate sales efforts with internal operations in all disciplines.
- support marketing activities to include sales tool development, supporting trade shows, industry events and mailings.
- manage partnerships with internal resources at meau to accomplish objectives.
- coordinate with overseas affiliates, head office, and factory to support key account development and project activity.
- develop, maintain, and coordinate strategic collaboration partner relationships as needed.
- represent meau at important industry events and participate in industry specification activities.
- contribute to the development of the company’s short and mid-term strategic plans.
- create data, budgets and reports to support the business.
- monthly report on sales/marketing activity
- perform other job functions as assigned.

*essential education, skills and experience*
- 3 - 5 years bachelor degree in engineering discipline - mechanical, electrical, automation, manufacturing - or equivalent experience
- 3 - 5 years of experience selling industrial automation (ia) solutions to the electronics, ems industry specific customers (end users, oems, machine builders, system integrators) in méxico.
- significant network of contacts, and ability to network in the defined market.
- strong base technical knowledge on (ia) industrial automation technologies (robots, servo, plcs, hmis, vfds, lvs & scada)
- business acumen around sales forecasting, opportunity management and customer planning.
- ability to listen, gain trust and bring to closure an action, project, resolution, or sales with customers.
- ability to utilize sales process to uncover customer objections/concerns and determine appropriate solutions.
- strong process discipline, ability to align planning objectives with a pipeline development process to grow and develop market revenue.
- excellent presentation skills and ability to communicate to a broad audience.
- ability to work on own to meet monthly objectives with mínimal day to day direction.
