supports business function and/or business excellence centers to ensure goods are shipped whilst meeting quality, legal and costs parameters. Develop, maintain, and improve transport/logistics processes to optimize inbound and/or outbound product and material delivery to external and internal clients.

*your responsibilities*:
- utilizes various transportation software systems to facilitate material movement, planning and scheduling.
- prepares and updates monthly logistics schedule to ensure deliveries to production locations and coordinates product delivery schedule with customers.
- coordinates daily activities to track location and movement of inventory finished goods and raw materials via all transport modes, and re-routes freight as needed to meet demands and minimize cost. Communicates fulfilment status to logistics and sales organizations as appropriate.
- works closely with transport service providers to assure efficient and effective execution of processes, assists in obtaining necessary transport permits and codes and prepares proper transportation paperwork and export documentation.
- supports the development and implementation of improved processes and systems and maintains master data.
- responsible of maintain the daily transportation import/ export operation under the legal requirements established by the following programs and certifications: immex, prosec, duty programs, vat certification and oea/ctpat.
- assist in identifying process and procedure improvements for the customs procedures (immex-bom, sap); identify customs risk areas and contribute to corrective action implementation.
- follow all the processes established in the daily operation to guarantee that all the import/ export invoices, dodas, us entries and foreign trade paperwork are elaborated under customs legal compliance.
- control of the daily record keeping, and physical evidence required by immex, prosec, duty programs, vat certification and oea/ctpat. (commercial invoices, us entries, bols, dodas, usmca and preference programs certificates, shipments pictures, etc.).
- guarantee to have the material and final products on time according to the production and internal & external customers' requirements.
- communicate to the team in a daily basis the status of all the import/export shipments including delays.
- responsible of the follow up of the import/export daily operations to guarantee that are shipped on time and under the financial budget established by the finance/customs and logistics team.
*your background*:
- bachelor´s degree in international commerce, logistics or similar from and accredited university or college.
- +5 years of experience working in logistics, transportations, customs, international commerce in multi-level organization.
- experience on iso9001 or any other quality system and ctpat.
- strong technical background.
- knowledge of ms office.
- ability to prioritize, make decisions in difficult or ambiguous situation.
- excellent coaching, development, change management/facilitation and leadership and strong interpersonal skills.
- business english.
