where needed drive root causes analysis and improves processes and operations.in this role, you will:- manage team of 2 ap supervisors, 8 ap operations analysts and 1 filing analyst.
provide daily oversight, guidance, coaching and development.
(40%)- lead various accounting close related processes and/or internal controls including review of metrics, analytics, journal entries, reserve adjustments and/or account reconciliations.
provide us gaap accounting guidance and support as needed, regarding p2p related general ledger accounts and procedures.
provide direction to the team regarding daily operational issues, policies and processes.
(30%)- lead and/or participate on cross functional teams on continuous improvement projects supporting the p2p process.
(20%)- provide analytical support to identify root cause issues and corrective action within the p2p process.
lead processes designed to provide resolution of escalated issues (10%)what we look for:- 6+ years finance and/or operations experience.
3-5 years of people management and leading teams.- ba/bs in business administration: accounting, finance or equivalent.
cpa preferred.- ability to drive performance improvement across a team; strong teamwork and collaboration skills- strong communication and interpersonal skills with internal clients, external partners and team members- experience working with outsourcing relationships and operations- strong people management skills and ability to manage a distributed workforce- effectively articulates financial and accounting issues to team members, customers (internal and external) and management.
