Marketing operations analyst
description -
applies intermediate level of subject matter knowledge to solve a variety of common business issues. Works on problems of moderately complex scope. Acts as an informed team member providing analysis of information and limited project direction input. Exercises independent judgment within defined practices and procedures to determine appropriate action. Follows established guidelines and interprets policies. Evaluates unique circumstances and makes recommendations.
responsibilities:
* resolve operational issues, which may require collaboration with cross-organizational teams.
* provide analyses and interpretations of campaign data and market insights to identify key drivers for marketing roi optimization.
* participate in testing to ensure new marketing processes and applications are delivering the benefits as promised in the business case.
* engage effectively and build trusted relationships with stakeholders to drive transparency and alignment.
* consult and advise on operational and campaign matters to peers and 1-2 levels higher.
* reconcile market program spend to the planned budget.
* drive adoption of common marketing processes and languages.
education and experience required:
* ba or bs in marketing or related field.
* typically, 2-4 years of related experience, with experience in data management and process improvement.
* organizational, individual initiative, and personal accountability.
knowledge and skills:
* working knowledge of marketing principles, practices, tactics, and tools.
* high-level knowledge of marketing activities and processes.
* confident with data exploration techniques and tools.
* strong written/oral communication and analytical skills.
* strong interpersonal skills; ability to work as part of a team.
* developing project management skills.
* ability to interface effectively with multiple levels of the organization and functional disciplines.
