*position summary*:
the post-borrowing management specialist will be responsible for managing, evaluating, and overseeing the financial health of a large-scale ferroviary infrastructure project. This role focuses on ensuring liquidity, repayment capacity, and compliance with loan disbursement requirements, while providing actionable recommendations and risk assessments to stakeholders.
*key responsibilities:1. Cash flow review*
- *service*: review the cash flow projections prepared by the financial or accounting department.
- *deliverable*:
- submission of a comprehensive report evaluating the project's ability to meet interest and principal repayment obligations over the next three months.
- provide warnings and precautions on potential liquidity and solvency risks.
*2. Loan disbursement documentation*
- *service*: prepare and submit all documentation required for senior and vat loan disbursements.
- *deliverable*:
- timely and accurate disbursements of senior and vat loans to meet the financial demands of the project.
*3. Financial risk monitoring*
- *service*: monitor and assess risks related to liquidity, solvency, and loan repayment.
- *deliverable*:
- submission of periodic risk reports with actionable recommendations to mitigate identified risks.
*4. Compliance management*
- ensure adherence to loan covenants and requirements as per contractual agreements.
- provide ongoing evaluations to ensure financial obligations are met in a timely and efficient manner.
*5. Interest and finance control*
- *service*: monitor and control interest rate exposure and financing terms to optimize the project's financial position.
- *deliverable*:
- reports and strategies to minimize interest expenses and improve financing efficiency.
*educational requirements*:
- bachelor’s degree in *finance, accounting, economics, or business administration* (or related fields).
- a *master’s degree* in finance or business administration (mba) is preferred but not mandatory.
- english is a must.
*experience requirements*:
- *5+ years of experience* in financial management, post-loan analysis, or project finance.
- strong experience in *cash flow forecasting*, liquidity management, and loan disbursement procedures.
- demonstrated expertise in *risk assessment* and compliance with financial covenants.
- experience working on *infrastructure or capital-intensive projects*, preferably in the ferroviary sector.
- proficiency in analyzing and reporting on *interest rate and financing strategies*.
- familiarity with *mexican gaap* and financial regulatory frameworks.
