Installation worker (operario calificado, operario general)
purpose of the job
§ perform the execution of signaling, telecommunication and low voltage installation - trackside, stations and depots - according to installation supervisor and team leaders orientations and instructions.
§ ensure the application of ehs policies, local regulations, and professional standards.

functional report line to sig installation supervisor or team leader (during project execution and operations phase).

main responsibilities
in compliance with ehs (zero deviation) and regulatory standards, the sig installation worker performs the installation execution and activities, including:
1. execute specific installation activities according to the design documentation and installation supervisor orientation/instruction.
2. comply with ehs procedures and maintain ppe defined by ehs, ensure collective protections are in place, and alert the installation supervisor whenever any deviation to ehs rules or ehs risk.
3. ensure the right means to perform the installation:
o ensure tools calibration at all times.
o understanding of drawings and work method statement (wms).
o ensure availability and usage of the necessary and right material.
o accurate knowledge/training for performing the work.
4. perform activities with quality: no deviation versus drawings and wms.
5. report and alert the hierarchical superior if any risk, difficulties, or issues are identified during the installation activities that may impact safety, quality, and/or performance of the work.
6. apply the d&is installation and fo process for installation activities.
performance measurements
• quality of installation activities (number of punch points).
• productivity as per reference library.
• issue of red and yellow drawing reports.
educational requirements
mandatory: primary level.
desirable: secondary level.
experience
mandatory:
§ minimum experience on site works: 6 months.
desirable:
§ knowledge of ehs on site.
