join us, and let's explore limitless possibilities together.job descriptionssupport and advise on corporate and commercial aspects of our e-commerce business' global expansion of current and proposed new initiatives, especially the legal requirements in mexico and latin america.provide legal and compliance advice to business teams on various aspects for the implementation of business models and strategies, business operations, product offerings, marketing activities, and commercial agreements.partner with business, tech, product, and risk management and other relevant departments respectively, set up and maintain the marketing and promotion framework and programs on e-commerce related activities.negotiate, draft, and review various types of agreements and policies.handle contentious (litigation and arbitration) and non-contentious matters.conduct trainings about legal and compliance issues, especially for any legal development within the jurisdictions.qualificationsadmitted and qualified to practice law in mexico.
admission and legal qualification in any other jurisdictions (especially within latin america) is a plus.at least 6 years of legal experience in reputable law firms and/or in-house at major multinational corporations.working experience in the e-commerce industry is preferred but not mandatory.native level spanish, excellent english is a must (including legal english).
fluent in mandarin/chinese will be a plus but not mandatory.strong analytical skills and broad legal knowledge.
