this role is perfect for someone who is proactive, highly organized, and ready to take ownership of food safety processes. You’ll work closely with clients, suppliers, and regulatory bodies to ensure smooth, compliant operations while helping businesses meet certification requirements.
*key responsibilities*:
*lead & manage* food safety and compliance programs, ensuring alignment with fsma, fda, and international certification standards.
*manage client accounts* and build strong relationships, offering expert guidance on regulatory compliance.
*conduct audits & risk assessments* to ensure ongoing compliance with primusgfs, global gap, social and responsible and organic standards.
*develop and implement sops, traceability systems, and corrective action plans.*
*train internal teams & clients* on compliance protocols, keeping them informed of the latest regulations.
*maintain detailed records and documentation* to ensure audit readiness and full regulatory compliance.
*what we’re looking for*:
background in food science, agronomy, biochemistry, or related fields.
Deep knowledge of farm compliance, pesticide regulations, fsma/fda standards.
Experience with organic certification, global gap, primusgfs, smeta, fsvp, and supply chain traceability.
Bilingual (english & spanish) - strong written and verbal communication skills.
Highly detail-oriented, organized, and proactive - takes full ownership of processes.
Strong leadership & client relationship management skills.
