in this role, business analyst to become an important part of our high-energy, fast-paced, and innovative hr technology team.
as an hr technology business analyst, you will partner with hr, payroll, benefits and other business users to understand business requirements, test technology solutions and ensure compliance with software development lifecycle standards and other key controls.
this role will support existing hr applications and troubleshoot job process failures and various other application issues, as they arise.
vail resorts is undergoing an exciting transformation of our hr technology products and this role will be an integral part of designing the future solutions.
responsibilities: administer regular production system support, including researching, diagnosing and resolving data integrity issues, system bugs, etc.open and track support tickets as needed and follow through with open issues reported from all business owners.follow up on production process failures, ensuring timely coordination of resolution and communication.evaluate current hr processes, technology and user requirements to develop technology solutions in support of business priorities.conduct analysis, identify root causes and provide recommendations that influence business solutions.support sarbanes oxley (sox) compliance audit requests.troubleshoot and remotely support time clock installations.use standard techniques to elicit and document business requirements, effectively identify process inefficiencies and make suggestions for modifications.elicit business requirements from business partners on smaller initiatives, leading the project through development, system integration testing and user acceptance testing.conduct system integration testing utilizing quality assurance best practices and documentation.consistently demonstrate analytical thinking both through verbal and non-verbal communications that is consumable by peers and management.ability to handle multiple assignments efficiently and provide suggested priorities to manager.open to learning additional technologies and integration practices.actively participate and take personal ownership in career through self-assessments, mid-year and annual reviews, goal setting and performance management.adapt to growth and change, is open to and generates new ideas.
