the main responsibilities
- work with it and business leaders, product management, and development teams to identify the product roadmap & objectives, understand industry trends & directions - mapping current state to target state solutions for ios and android platforms
- reliably deliver high-quality software within schedule constraints.
provides technical ownership of software products.
- innovate and champion platform improvements that sets lumen as a technology leader in providing digital experiences and api services that exceed customer expectations.
- design self-service and automation opportunities that minimize manual intervention and ensure scalability as the number of api service offerings and customer usage increases.
- drive continuous integration and deployment strategies that leverage mature devsecops tools and practices.
- collaborate with, mentor and support software developers and contractors to ensure commitments and outcomes are achieved, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality software.
- bachelors or master in computer science (or related).
- minimum 3+ years of work experience with mobile technologies.
- excellent knowledge and hands-on experience with multiple mobile platforms and related technologies: android, ios, xamarin, react native, apis & communication, security, and common out-of-the-box solutions (firebase, etc.).
- knowledge of common software engineering practices (continuous integration, continuous delivery,) and architecture modeling practices (uml, swagger).
- experience in agile development principles.
- speaks swift, kotlin multiplatform mobile (kmm), or react native fluently
- experience producing architecture and design deliverables that promotes ease of understanding for diverse audiences.
- proficient in high-level (strategic) and low-level (coding) solution design - capable of jumping into code when needed.
- "full-stack" software development experience as a team/technical lead - (api microservices development, containerized workflows, front-end ui/ux).
- creative, innovative, and can serve as an effective champion for transformation and change.

this position is eligible for either short-term incentives or sales compensation.
