summary: weare seeking an experienced human resources manager to lead all hrfunctions at our unionized manufacturing facility in ramos arizpe.this role requires a strategic and hands-on leader who can managelabor relations, drive employee engagement, and support operationalgoals in a fast-paced automotive production environment.
the idealcandidate will possess deep knowledge of mexican labor laws, unionnegotiations, and best practices in talent management.
keyresponsibilities: labor relations & union management - act asthe primary liaison with the labor union.
- lead and supportcollective bargaining agreement (cba) negotiations.
- ensurecompliance with union agreements and resolve grievances anddisputes.
- foster a constructive labor-management relationship.compliance & legal - ensure full compliance with mexican laborlaws, imss, infonavit, and stps regulations.
- manage internal andexternal audits related to labor, safety, and social security.talent management - oversee full-cycle recruitment, onboarding, andretention strategies for all plant roles.
- partner with operationsto identify workforce planning needs and skill gaps.
- implementtraining and development programs to enhance workforcecapabilities.
performance & engagement - develop and monitorkpis related to hr metrics such as turnover, absenteeism, andemployee satisfaction.
- promote a positive workplace culturefocused on safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
- leadinitiatives around employee recognition, feedback, and internalcommunications.
hr operations & administration - manage payrollprocesses in coordination with finance and external providers.
-supervise personnel files, hris data integrity, and benefitsadministration.
- lead health & safety initiatives incollaboration with ehs teams.
qualifications: - bachelor's degreein human resources, business administration, industrial relations,or related field.
- master's degree or hr certifications (e.g.,shrm, hrci) preferred.
- 7+ years of progressive hr experience inmanufacturing, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
- provenexperience working in a unionized environment and participating incba negotiations.
- strong knowledge of mexican labor laws and hrbest practices.
- excellent interpersonal, negotiation, andconflict resolution skills.
- advanced english proficiencyrequired.
