takes any necessary actions to ensure that a product or service satisfies customer requirements and is the driving force in implementing continuous quality improvement, coordinating quality manufacturing/logistics assurance engineers and sometimes quality control teams.
main activities
in charge of the quality of one or several production sectors:
1. ensure that the process control plan is applied.
2. lead continuous improvement on production lines.
3. lead root cause analysis of quality issues and problem solving.
4. create and maintain quality control documentation.
5. lead process audits and process failure mode & effect analysis (fmea).
6. manage deviations.
7. be the local expert of the assembled products in the sector.
