- analyze new business opportunities, develop sales plans and execute planned action steps in order to acquire
- participate with business development efforts and retention selling to ensure continued success and profitability of tyco fire products.
- provide on site technical training to architects, consulting engineers, ahjs, end users (owners) and key accounts.
- develop and support sales training programs for internal and external representatives.
- coordinate with sales personnel to ensure they are aware of upcoming projects, opportunities and/or changes in customer specifications.
- provide detailed documentation on a timely basis on meetings, site visits and other critical information.
- participate in strategic planning processes with director of business development.
- conduct research and analysis of business opportunities, consistent with organization's long range and strategic plans.
- implement market business plans and initiatives.
- explore and builds partner relationships to develop and/or enhance business alliances.
- conduct the research and analysis of business opportunities, assessing potential markets and developing projects for use in new marketing initiatives. Evaluates projects through financial feasibility studies, market research, and planning.
- identify new opportunities for tfpp by visiting existing and new customers.
- be responsive to the customers needs and follow through on all aspects of request, both written and verbal.
*what we look for (required)*
- bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, engineering or related field of study.
- minimum 2-4 years’ in business development / sales experience in fire suppression, fire alarm or fire protection industry.
- strong technical aptitude.
- excellent written and verbal communication.
- able to present in front of large audiences.
- strong leadership characteristics.
- organization and time management skills.
- fluency in english and spanish (verbal and written).
- ability to travel up to 60% throughout mexico, central america and the caribbean.
