*as a manager marketing you would be responsible for*:
this position leads the local marketing team by providing support to the team on how to deliver exceptional levels of guest service both internally and externally as well as encourage a positive working environment at all times. This position will report directly to the sr. Director of marketing, and is responsible for the recruiting/selection of talent, onboarding, training, performance management, mentor and counseling, scheduling and recognition. Partners with sales & marketing management in order to ensure the hilton core values of hospitality are being maintained in all customer-facing interactions and between the marketing teams. This position will lead by example and be willing and able to cover shifts.
- ensuring all shifts are covered daily, scheduling and task assignments. Monitors team members pto requests, collaborates with business management, tour reception and resort operations teams.
- tracks attendance of all team members, and communicates status of this to hr and business management teams.
- supervise and motivate marketing executives, and marketing specialist teams.
- coordinate coaching, training modules, and performance evaluations.
- collaborate with corporate marketing for alligment, and support costumer service initiatives to fullfill hotels protocols.
- create and maintain reporting to perform performance coaching and cost reduction analysis using excel, cognos, sharepoint and voice.
- work with leadership to develop processes and policies that will assist in the growth of the business as well improve the team’s effectiveness and efficiencies.
- coordinate marketing team performance with senior mktg director
- handles and assists with onboarding for new hires of the marketing department. Requests systems access, coordinates and provides information to new employees including the ordering of business cards, name tags, sales material, new hire packet, etc
- maintains a positive working environment for all team members and abides by the hilton values at all times.
- be responsible to provide customer response in case of giftting discrepancies.
- support guest services team on overflow days, in case resechude of appointments are required.
- coordinate dm tours to avoid overflow.
- identify strategic partnerships -hilton honors discount card initiative (local business, events and vendors) to enhance owners and guest experience, assuring marketing objectives.
- drive a brand awareness quality operation.
