key responsibilities:
* maintain production lines running by solving problems that jeopardize production goals.
* participate actively in multidisciplinary teams to solve line barriers.
* support improvement activities arising from the rewards program.
* participate in kaizen events (as leader, participant, or task performer).
* support value stream map activities.
* investigate quality issues and customer complaints to make processes more robust.
* generate savings projects.
* follow-up to standardization of best practices.
* perform line balancing and actions to improve productivity.
requirements:
* lean manufacturing / kaizen / 5 s's methodology knowledge and implementation.
* tools for analysis and problem-solving.
* time and movement studies.
* project management.
* collaboration with suppliers on improvements.
* process mapping.
* support for sgi (iso9001-iso14001-iso45001).
desired qualifications:
* engineering or equivalent degree.
* 3 to 5 years of experience in manufacturing/assembly industry.
* advanced english language proficiency.
* hands-on knowledge of lean manufacturing tools.
* knowledge of autocad.
