Summary
provides support and improvement of manufacturing processes throughout the facility. Activities performed include industrial and process improvement engineering (lean manufacturing processes), to ensure the volume and productivity levels committed in class “a” metrics, reliability of manufacturing processes, ergonomic considerations for a safe and continuous operations, risk-free to the operators; on-time delivery of products.
essential duties and responsibilities
1. works directly with production supervisors and manufacturing engineers in a team environment for problem solving, buy-in and support of new processes.
2. implementation & promotion of lean manufacturing tools.
3. workstations design and transformation (layout).
4. standardized work sheets & head counting development.
5. time studies, capacity analysis & line balance.
6. leading cost reduction projects.
7. development of ie forms, work instructions, process flow diagrams, and procedures.
8. assistance with equipment and machinery installation.
9. design of tooling and fixtures, including tooling and fixtures control.
10. support for pilot runs & new model launches.
11. ergonomic analysis using rula, reba, niosh, or other ergonomic tools.
12. responsible for applying all requirements related to ems, iso9001/14001/45001/50001/green spirit according to the position.

minimum qualifications
1. bs degree in industrial or manufacturing, production, or related field.
2. 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment (preferred).
3. english proficiency at 80%.
preferred qualifications
1. significant experience in cross-functional manufacturing processes and thorough understanding of lean manufacturing principles.
2. excellent communication skills and unique ability to provide direction on technical and complex issues to non-technical personnel in a manner that is fully understood and supported.
3. experience in managing multiple projects simultaneously and meeting deadlines, with a track record of successfully completing projects on time.
4. history of successful experience in the development of high-performance work teams, including establishing training and development processes.
5. computer literacy including autocad, microsoft office, excel, powerpoint, etc.
6. experience in uptime improvements, scrap reduction processes, and ownership of area form and processes delivery standpoint.
7. proplanner knowledge and experience is a plus.
8. ability to work under pressure, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
