objective:
to provide controlling leadership and drive revenue strategy for mercedes-benz gd vans by delivering timely and reliable vehicle profitability analysis in accordance with local and hq guidelines. To serve as the key finance business partner and point of contact for pricing project proposals and financial results with product planning and sales & marketing. To develop frameworks and statistical models to enhance pricing strategies and optimize vehicle profitability.
day to day (main tasks):
* provide controlling leadership for financial planning processes, including operating planning, expected actuals, and other forecasts.
* deliver reliable and timely deviation analysis for key financial results, and implement corrective actions to mitigate variances.
* create and present executive financial status reports to the board of management, including the ceo, cfo, and sales & commercial directors.
* act as key business partner, providing reliable and expedited support through vehicle profitability analysis.
* lead and support net pricing negotiations with local sales, product management, and headquarters business partners.
* develop frameworks and statistical models to enhance pricing strategies and improve vehicle profitability, including comprehensive group contribution data modeling that incorporates volume projections, fx impact on pricing and margin levels, ppcs cost calculations, duties, and the effect of pricing and discount structures.
* coordinate fixed cost functions across the overall operation, including passenger cars, vans, customer service, marketing, and general distributors operations.
* lead, supervise, and execute ics controls related to pricing & discount master data and vehicle invoicing audits.
profile:
education: degree in finance, accounting or economics.
previous experience: 5 years of experience on financial topics: accounting, controlling.
languages: advanced english.
additional qualifications: sap, excel advanced, power bi desktop.
