objective:
provide controlling leadership and drive revenue strategy for mercedes-benz gd latina by delivering timely and reliable vehicle profitability analysis in alignment with local and hq guidelines. Act as a key finance business partner and point of contact for pricing project proposals and critical financial results to product planning and sales & marketing. Develop robust frameworks and statistical models to enhance pricing strategies and contribution approaches, ultimately driving vehicle profitability enhancements through data-driven insights.
day to day (main tasks):
1. act as a key business partner by providing reliable and expedited vehicle profitability analysis. Lead and support net pricing negotiations with local sales, product management, and hq business partners. Deliver comprehensive profitability analysis using key metrics such as group contribution, net revenue, turnover, and various ratios—to ensure that minimum profitability requirements are met according to guidelines, and determine discount price lists to optimize pricing strategies.
2. develop frameworks and statistical models to enhance pricing strategies and optimize vehicle profitability. This includes group contribution data modeling that incorporates volume forecasts, fx effects on pricing and margins, pricing passenger cars cost calculations, duties, as well as price and discount structures.
3. led, supervised, and executed ics controls for pricing & discount master data and vehicle invoicing audits, ensuring adherence to corporate policies and internal financial standards.
4. provide controlling leadership for financial planning—encompassing operating planning, expected actual, and other key metrics. Deliver reliable, timely deviation analyses for financial results and implement corrective actions to mitigate variances. Develop and communicate executive financial status reports to the board of management, including the ceo, cfo, and sales & commercial directors.
5. provide leadership in the consolidation and communication of financial status reports for the latam region. Provide financial support and analysis for special topics and assignments related to the latam region, including customer service for the entire region.

* previous experience: 5 years of experience on financial topics: accounting, controlling.
