objective:
inventory management and logistics approach and development trained to optimize our supply chain operations and ensure efficient inventory control and care in agents, vpc and sales yards, as well as offer support to the area of planning and ordering.
day to day (main tasks):
1. establishment of policies, objectives and parameters of inventory, planning or ordering.
2. management of periodic inventory maintenance in agents / sales yards and damage handling: claim handling, exceptions, damage tracking, insurances / repair partners, audits & controlling.
3. analysis, monitoring & optimization of inventory across entire network (management of yearly stock counts & documentation and inventory monitoring and reporting activities).
4. ensure sufficient vehicle display at each retail partner based upon display space and retail target agreement via sap system. (inventory allocation per agent location and stay in close contact to agents to optimize vehicle model-mix and allocations), and ensure the vehicles readiness for customer delivery in a timely manner after booking.
5. administration and control of demo units, assignment log, maintenance, reservations and consignment contract with customers.
6. coordination with the sales and ordering department to identify demand for models to increase the volume in planning. Identify low-volume models.
7. responsibility for medium/short-term production planning with permanent consideration of availabilities in the production plant as well as observation of the market environment.
8. support to the ordering area for the placement and modification of production orders and focus on improving processes, from vehicle planning, through production, to delivery to agents.
profile:
1. education: administration, engineering, or related career.
2. previous experience: experience mainly in areas of sales administration, logistics and inventory.
3. languages: advanced english.
4. additional qualifications: microsoft office, stock control, ordering and planning, logistics & power bi.
