the primary responsibilities include:
* support the general manager in all aspects of the finance and accounting function.
* manage the on-site accounting team.
* takes full ownership of the financial statements for mexico, including the consolidation of results.
* responsible for the local forecasting and budget process.
* execute on timelines required by corporate and platform functions.
* work with sourcing and continuous improvement teams to determine cost savings and ensure they positively impact the p&l.
* develop enhancements to policies and procedures to grow the business while mitigating risk.
* manage the relationship with shelter service provider, oversee compliance.
* monitor inventory drive inventory accuracy, identify issues and minimize on-hand inventory.
* responsible for accuracy of balance sheet accounts.
* ensure compliance with all local regulations.
* ensure financial statements are in compliance with us gaap (generally accepted accounting principles).
required profile
the ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree in finance or accounting. 8-10 years of experience in manufacturing finance and/or accounting department. Experience closing the books and reporting for an international entity to a us company. Deep understanding of manufacturing operations. Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and adhere to deadlines. Fluency in english and spanish.
