please note that this is not an exhaustive list of everything that needs to be done! Within the auberge family, our people always find new ways to look after the business, their guests, and their teammates. Within this, the key responsibilities for this position are:
* to provide a warm welcome to all guests while striving to provide outstanding service.
* to be able to communicate professionally and effectively in the languages used in the spa.
* to be fully aware of all the treatments currently offered in the spa services menu and of any promotion or offer at any given time.
* to be fully knowledgeable of the product lines used in the spa for retail sales and for professional use and to be fully capable of providing our guests with product guidance and recommendations benefiting retail sales.
* to be aware at all times of the guest’s location within the spa, making sure that no guest is left unattended.
* to keep himself/herself updated with any reservation changes made at the spa reception.
* to provide a smooth flow between the guests’ relaxing time and their spa treatment experience.
* to ensure that the massage therapists are fully aware of any special indications or contraindications so the spa service is tailored to the specific needs of our guests as described in his/her medical consultation form.
* to ensure that no guest values are left behind, and if so, to communicate immediately to the guest, spa concierge/management & security department.
* to ensure that all guests' comments and feedback are communicated to the spa management for prompt follow-up.
* to take great care and pride of his/her assigned areas, linen and storage areas and ensure that they are set up according to their specific sop and maintain them clean and tidy at all times.
* to maintain a daily control of the soiled linens and clean linens brought from the laundry room as indicated in the spa attendant checklist.
* to perform monthly linen inventories.
* to provide spa tours.
* to be proactive and be a strong component of the team in order to achieve the department goals.
* to promote an atmosphere of wellbeing within the hotel and within the spa team at all times.
qualifications
* two years of experience, preferably in a top spa or luxury hotel.
* advanced level of english.
* bachelor's degree.
