objective:
represent and establish the presence of the chanel wine brand in mexico. act as a key liaison between the brand, customers and business partners, developing brand recognition, educating on product values and generating memorable experiences that strengthen customer relationships and enhance sales.
key responsibilities
launch and brand management in mexico
1. develop and execute a comprehensive strategy for the introduction and positioning of chanel wines in the mexican market.
2. identify market opportunities, strategic partners and appropriate distribution channels.
3. build from scratch the commercial network, including alliances with distributors, restaurants, specialty shops and luxury hotels.
brand representation
1. act as the image and voice of the brand at events, tastings, trade fairs and promotional activities.
2. ensure consistency in the communication of the brand message and values.
3. establish strong relationships with sommeliers, chefs, distributors and key customers.
sales and marketing strategy
1. collaborate with the marketing and sales teams to develop effective marketing and promotional strategies.
2. monitor market trends and provide feedback for brand presence.
events and promotions
1. plan and execute tastings, pairings, private dinners and other events that highlight french wine offerings.
2. participate in exhibitions, trade fairs and public relations activities.
3. generate memorable experiences that convey the premium value of the brand.
networking and pr
1. build and maintain relationships with wine industry stakeholders, influencers, trade press and vip clients.
2. identify opportunities for collaboration and growth in new markets.
reporting and evaluation
1. analyse the impact of promotional activities and report results to brand leaders.
2. maintain up-to-date reports on performance, sales and customer perception.
education and training
1. conduct presentations, tastings and educational workshops on the history, origin, quality and characteristics of french wines.
2. provide specialised training to sales teams and sales partners to ensure the correct positioning of the brand.
what are we looking for?
1. studies in marketing, public relations or areas related to oenology, sommelier, gastronomy, certifications (wset, court of master sommeliers, etc.) are highly valued.
2. minimum 2 years as a brand ambassador, sommelier or in a similar role related to premium wines or beverages.
3. experience in launching and managing premium brands in new or emerging markets.
4. experience in events, tastings and communication with high-end clients.
5. familiarity with global wine market trends, especially in the luxury segment.
6. extensive knowledge of french wines, their wine regions (bordeaux, bourgogne, champagne, loire, rhône, etc.), pairings and tasting techniques.
7. familiarity with global wine market trends.
8. excellent communication, presentation and storytelling skills.
9. customer and detail orientation.
10. ability to work independently and as part of a team.
11. ability to generate effective networking and public relations.
12. language skills: advanced english, french is a plus.
13. flexibility to travel and work at events with time differences.
