- lead cross-functional expert teams to drive breakthrough or best-in-class performance in people, quality, material flow, and cost.
- attend trainings to learn about lean & six sigma tools and continuous improvement methodologies as required by function and/or position.
- develop a capacity study by line, area, plant based on customer requirements, (plant layout, areas, lines depending on customer requirements.)
- ct analysis of operations people. Or analysis of movements (motions).
- responsible for monitoring the main productive offenders to coordinate activities that reduce the negative impact on the indicators (productivity).
- ability to calculate efficiencies in machines and production lines.
- definition and calculation of shifts required, the duration of the shift, std hours/ good hours, the total hours of production and the number of workers needed (direct), based on the daily production required.
- determine the performance index, considering the composition of the direct and indirect presence of labor, and the related percent incidence losses in good hours.
- evaluate the actual performance (efficiency rate, losses, indirect...)
