Coordinates all activities necessary to fulfill the production schedule by line per shift, ensuring product quality requirements as per control plan.
key responsibilities:
* manufactures products by supervising staff; organizing and monitoring workflow.
* completes production plan by scheduling and assigning personnel; accomplishing work results; establishing priorities; monitoring progress; revising schedules; resolving problems; reporting results of the processing flow on shift production summaries.
* defines training needs for the manufacturing personnel of assigned production line to achieve and maintain necessary competence, knowledge, discipline, and skill levels.
* ensures that procedures and instructions are followed by manufacturing personnel, including safety and environmental guidelines.
* supports continuity through working shifts.
* responsible for product quality level of manufacturing during the shift.
* provides and supports bosch production system, continuous improvement process (cip), policy deployment, and teamwork.
* continuously improves quality, cost, productivity, uptime of machinery, turnover, and absenteeism.
* communicates plant goals, policies, and information to manufacturing personnel.
* supports manufacturing personnel in communication with plant organization.
* promotes and supports quality and environment plant goals.
* maintains a safe and clean work environment by educating and directing personnel on the use of all control points, equipment, and resources.
* ensures compliance with quality basics principles.
* is responsible for knowing and applying the environmental health and safety (ehs) policies, which includes:
o fulfilling legal and corporate requirements and regulations applicable.
o fulfilling safety procedures applicable to the area.
o ensuring that outsourced personnel under responsibility fulfill the internal regulations.
o actively participating in trainings and tests scheduled according to the level of risks of the job.
