*job description*:
the e&o & inventory analyst is responsible for analysis excess and obsolete inventory in addition to mitigating future e&o risk. The position requires collaboration with multiple departments and groups within the organization that impact inventory to obtain information which will assist in understanding and analyzing global inventory, developing forecasts, and action plans for minimizing inventory risk while maximizing material availability which will exceed customer expectations.
Responsibilities also include, but are not limited to:
- root cause analysis of e&o
- devise and implement corrective actions for issues uncovered during root cause analysis of e&o inventory risk
- analyze trends for material movements over time including receipts, issues, consumptions and scrap to determine areas of opportunity for reducing stock levels
- review supply chain and collaborate to mitigate eo risk.
- collaborate with various groups including (but not limited to) finance, quality, international & domestic foreign trade, purchasing, marketing, operations, and 3rd party partners to reduce current eo and future eo risk
- continuous process improvement initiatives
- min max analysis to improve material availability
*qualifications*:
- bachelor’s degree required
- 3 years of previous supply chain experience in a distribution-based environment
- strong mathematical skills
- proficiency on visual basic
