*job summary*
- performs professional tasks related to providing the optimal level of service for total customer satisfaction by supporting the customer service team and supply chain team by analyzing the different demand sources (forecast, firm client orders), validating capacity and acknowledging sales orders entering for the value stream.
*primary responsibilities*
- deal with daily backlog of customer shipments - and scheduling deliveries and providing information to the customer service team on past dues, missing components, recovery dates, tracking information, etc for the value stream by using mfg pro and support of the rest of the supply chain team in the value stream.
- requests for expedite purchases that are delayed or in response to changes in the production plan for the value stream.
- obtain and evaluate all relevant information to handle delivery and production scheduling inquiries and complaints in the value stream.
- handle and resolve customer complaints for the value stream. Drive requests and unresolved issues to the designated resource.
- follow up and keep records of all relevant information supplied to customer service team and supply chain team.
- communicate and coordinate with internal departments.
*qualifications*:
*education/previous experience requirements*
- bachelor’s degree, preferably in engineering/business/supply chain.
- understanding of mrp, supply chain processes and lean manufacturing techniques.
- minimum of 2-3 years related customer service, planning and/or manufacturing experience.
- ms office -excel advance level; access proficiency highly desirable.
- mfg pro knowledge is a plus.
- strong analytical and inventory management skills.
- ability to work at detail level with skills to gather, summarizes, and interprets data to help manage product from an isc perspective.
- demonstrated ability to achieve results through influence.
- ability to prioritize work and coordinate multiple tasks.
- ability to lead and influence others.
- english at advanced level.
