we are searching for the best talent for head of talent acquisition innovative medicine latam to be in sao paulo, bogotá or mexico city purpose: the head of talent acquisition, johnson & johnson innovative medicine latam, will lead a team across a full lifecycle recruiting model that will provide j&j with a competitive talent advantage. You will leverage existing industry and business acumen to build strong internal and external partnerships to serve as a dedicated, strategic, and trusted talent advisor to business leaders, human resource partners, employee resource groups as well as a multitude of external partners throughout latin america. You will stay on top of trends and market changes, maintain relevant/current knowledge of the competitive talent landscape including market availability, talent trends, compensation and benefits and will leverage this knowledge to serve as a trusted and credible advisor when translating complex business, enterprise and diversity strategies into actionable hiring outcomes.
you will oversee an agile team of experienced recruiters, recruiting leads and/or managers in the end-to-end process of identifying, assessing, and acquiring high caliber talent and you will shape, connect, and lead resources to deliver on key projects and initiatives with a latin america commercial scope. You will maintain confidentiality and operate with integrity in a complex, high-profile and rapidly changing environment. Finally, you will drive organizational dedication and accountability to deliver operational excellence, business focus, and overall development of our people.
the people leader will lead the delivery, execution, and assessment of recruitment initiatives that enable the acquisition of top talent required to meet strategic objectives across commercial functions (sales, marketing, business development, msl, etc.) in the latin american market that will provide j&j with a competitive recruiting advantage. You will influence outcomes and communicate closely with hiring managers by sharing best practices and using an employee and customer-focused approach to understand their needs and ensure the effective attraction, selection, and development of a high performing, diverse, and sustainable talent pipeline to drive business results in alignment with organizational and functional hr strategies. This leader will influence talent strategies for senior business leaders through proactive approaches to talent outreach. Through deep review of data insights and exploration of market landscapes, this leader will interact with various levels of leadership in the latin america region to drive strategic pipelines along with operational excellence of the talent acquisition team.
you will be responsible for: lead and motivate a high performing team of experienced recruiters in the ongoing processes of acquiring top talent in alignment with strategic objectives and organizational needs to increase the effectiveness of services.improve the customer experience, increasing quality of hire, decreasing time to fill and fostering a talent advisor mindset with customers and teams through process excellence.in partnership with the business, help drive a proactive talent strategy by reviewing / providing market landscape, talent, and business insights and knowledge that will drive successful candidate outcomes.own the whole end-to-end recruiting process by embracing new technologies to ensure that the sourcing, recruiting, assessment, offer, onboarding and communication processes run smoothly contributing to a positive candidate experience and employer equity.influence, communicate, and lead outcomes with senior leadership teams and hiring managers by driving effective recruiting strategies, setting expectations, and helping identify the skills or characteristics that lead to success in a role.demonstrate an agile mindset by embracing new technologies in the end-to-end recruiting process to develop and execute sourcing strategies, build sustainable candidate pipelines, accurately assess candidates, increase the effectiveness of services while improving the customer experience, driving increased quality of hire, decreasing time to fill, enabling process excellence in recruiting and fostering a talent advisor mindset with customers and teams.understand and execute business priorities, workforce planning outcomes, regional current and future capability requirements as well as any specific talent challenge to be addressed by translating a business strategy.execute regional diversity strategies in partnership with key stakeholders and build capability in de&i strategy with your team (business/talent acquisition leaders, recruiters, office of diversity & inclusion, etc.).motivate team members to achieve and exceed service standards by identifying staff performance gaps, allocating time to listen, and providing constructive feedback for performance improvement.assess team members' workload and performance, ensure proper assignment of cases and workload to deliver targeted assessment and selection service levels.coach and develop team members across ta, focus on building sector-based business acumen in every team member.connect closely across the hr community and with key business stakeholders to ensure awareness and understanding of key business priorities for your team.qualifications: a minimum of a bachelor's degree is required.a minimum of 8 years of professional business experience is required.a minimum of 6 years of experience in hr/recruiting is required.a minimum of 2 years as a people manager leading and developing a team with a strong focus on team engagement and individual performance is required.proficient in english, spoken and written.demonstrated success analyzing and presenting data in a compelling narrative that drives data-based impact and decisions for key business partners is required.experience utilizing metrics regularly to manage and maintain service performance and team performance is required.experience crafting solutions, with strong communication and collaborative partnership skills with internal and external partners to ensure the effective execution of business solutions across the enterprise through an actionable plan is required.the ability to provide clear direction across all employee levels quickly and on-demand to work effectively in an agile environment, handle multiple projects and daily ad-hoc operational activities is required.experience sitting on an hr leadership team is preferred.strong business acumen across multiple business functions is preferred.spanish or portuguese language bi-lingual fluency is required.
