full-stack software service engineers that are passionate about software and cloud engineering to build the next-gen data services based on the latest big data and at scale cloud technologies.
communication and collaboration with architects, product managers and feature teams to build core-platform components and web services that enable our mobile applications. Defining, designing, coding, testing, and deploying services that interact with multiple large scale data systems as well as the production processes around them, such as deployment and health-monitoring.
responsibilities:
* work on a small agile team to deliver working, tested software in a micro service cloud-based architecture.
* design and implement new features and improvements to our platform that deliver vehicle data to our mobile applications in a scalable and secure fashion.
* provide thought leadership and architectural expertise and manage cross-team integration.
* ship high-quality, well-tested, secure, and maintainable code.
* participate in design discussions about new features and ensure our services integrate seamlessly with other pieces of the platform.
* participate in team’s live-site activities.
* onboard and train new software engineers.
minimum requirements:
* bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, electrical engineering or related field or a combination of education and equivalent experience.
* professional id.
* 2+ years of it development and implementation experience in java or c++ or c or other object-oriented programming.
* 3+ years developing apis and rest services experience.
working location and schedule:
* monday to friday full time.
* the job is hybrid, part home office and part in office.
