The role requires effective management of internal and third-party resources towards incident management, seamless process integrations to enable resilient operations, and effectively harnessing security technology for detection and response.*years of experience needed in similar roles*:minimum 15 years of enterprise experience and proven track record leading a global soc (security operations centre) domain with minimum 10 years of people management experience.*main responsabilities*:key areas under this role delivered by the cyber fusion center include:- managing internal and third-party resources who continuously monitor security technologies and respond to security alerts and cyber incidents.- owning and participating in improvement of incident management process and playbooks to ensure an unambiguous, seamless, effective, and resilient cyber defense approach.- collaborating with stakeholders in security engineering and architecture teams to ensure that technology being operated is fit for purpose, fine-tuned, and is working effective as expected.- partnering with threat intelligence and threat hunt teams to effectively ingest their inputs towards proactive defense.- working closely with technology information security officers and business information security officers to adopt a risk-based approach to respond to incidents.- notifying material cyber incidents to cyber and business leadership teams to enable effective containment and risk driven decision making.- investigating material cyber incidents to evidence the root cause, attribution of control failure and scoping of potential impact.- managing escalations with stakeholders and leveraging major incident management process for timely and effective management of material cyber incidents.- governing of metrics to ensure operational effectiveness of cyber defense operations and reporting of same to cyber security leadership team.- working closely with suppliers and managed security service providers to govern quality of service delivery.this role will work with wider areas of the business to achieve these objectives, including the regional cyber fusion centers, security, tech & ops team and the regional business information security officer (biso) teams
