in 2024 we are introducing number of exciting development offerings to our organization and created a process to respond more directly and timely to business needs. Alongside our more traditional cohort-based learning programs, we are currently widening the scope of our interventions to include more social learning experiences where leaders can more spontaneously meet, network, learn from and support each other.

the coach will report to the faculty lead who in their turn will report to the employee experience organization under the people function.
key responsibilities
as an experienced and certified coach, you will deliver coaching as part of our leadership development strategy and solutions. This position will be a part of the faculty team which will work very tightly with the maersk leadership institute (mli), helping to deliver the solutions. The mli designs and develops the solutions that are then deployed and delivered by the faculty team.
in addition, you will be working with a vast variety of leaders and creating impact on our organization by delivering a challenging and supportive coaching experience to leaders that both helps them make progress on their own leadership goals.
what we look for
1. you are a qualified coach with accredited coaching certifications (either by the international coaching federation (icf) or european mentoring and coaching council (emcc)
2. you are very experienced in 1:1 coaching and/or group coaching .
3. experience on leadership development, facilitating development programs and happy to coach leaders at various levels.
4. you know how to best coach in a virtual environment, using various collaboration methods and tools to make the sessions engaging (nearly 100 of the coaching is virtual).
5. you work through empathy and understanding as well as the ability to listen to different perspectives and to challenge leaders in a healthy way.
6. you are authentic and build trust. Good at bringing people together and managing group dynamics
7. able to maintain an unbiased perspective in sessions (well, we all are unconsciously biased, but hope you get what i mean- stay away from jumping into judging what participants say)
8. ability to “command the room”
9. you have ability to navigate complex stakeholder environments and spar with and influence senior leaders.
