the bdr will work closely with the sales team to identify and pursue leads and opportunities, and they may also be responsible for building relationships with potential clients and negotiating contracts.some specific duties and responsibilities may include:- identifying and researching potential new business opportunities, such as partnerships, collaborations, or new markets to enter.- building relationships with potential clients, including through networking events, industry conferences, and online channels.- qualifying leads and determining their potential value to the company.- developing and presenting proposals to potential clients, outlining the benefits of working with the company and how the company can meet their needs.- negotiating contracts and terms with clients, including pricing, timelines, and deliverables.- collaborating with the sales team to identify and pursue leads and opportunities.- maintaining accurate records of sales activities and outcomes, including sales data and customer information.overall, the goal of the bdr is to identify and pursue opportunities to drive company growth and increase revenue.
the bdr will work closely with the sales team and may have the opportunity to advance to higher-level sales roles as he/she gains experience and build on the skills.
