what a typical day looks like:
- _ coordinates and may prioritize manager's schedule and maintains calendar appointments, meetings and travel itineraries and coordinates related arrangements._
- _ reads and routes incoming mail.
locates and attaches appropriate file to correspondence to be answered by employer._
- _ composes and may initiate routine or non-routine correspondence and memoranda._
- _ handles details of a highly confidential and critical nature._
- _ organizes and maintains file system, and files correspondence and other records._
- _ answers and screens manager's telephone calls, gives information to callers and arranges conference calls.
may respond to inquiries about company products using a standard script and procedures._
- _ greets scheduled visitors and guides to appropriate area or person.
may coordinate or conduct facility tours._
- _ arranges and coordinates travel schedules and reservations and coordinates related arrangements._
- _ conducts research, and compiles and types statistical reports._
- _ coordinates and arranges meetings, prepares agendas, reserves and prepares facilities and records and transcribes minutes of meetings._
- _ makes copies of correspondence or other printed materials.
may also maintain key distribution and contact lists._
- _ operates a personal computer and uses appropriate software packages as needed._
- _ orders and maintains supplies and required operational materials and gear, and arranges for equipment maintenance._
