involves the completion of administrative tasks and coordination relating to the front-line operation which may include data entry, ramp activities, sort activities, trace activities, dispatch activities and local customer service. While operational tasks may be part of these roles, the majority of time is spent on office-based activities.
general job description:
1. advise and offer the range of products and services to customers to achieve the organization’s sales objectives, as well as the development of frequent and credit customers.
2. perform a variety of customer service, administrative, and office tasks that require direct or indirect interaction with the customer.
3. assist customers with package tracking, respond to questions about fedex products and services either at the counter or by phone.
4. verify packages ensuring proper labeling, legality of contents including weight and size, proper wrapping, insured value, special handling requirements for hazardous materials, and compliance with required customs documentation at the destination.
5. collaborate with budget compliance, revenue/expenses, and support optimizing branch profitability with resource optimization.
6. responsible for opening and closing the branch, keeping the work area clean, reviewing furniture and work materials, and respecting customer service times.
7. recognize new customers or additional business opportunities and offer the most suitable services and solutions, open new accounts, obtain additional shipments, and present sales opportunities.
8. ensure an excellent customer experience by developing and providing appropriate solutions to various customer problems.
9. follow up on business and administrative processes, communicating with the involved areas. Responsible for safeguarding company values and preventing deviations, shortages, and mismanagement in the wsc.
10. request the necessary supplies to carry out daily documentation and packaging of shipments.
minimum requirements:
1. minimum education level: completed high school or equivalent.
2. language: proficiency in english.
3. minimum experience: two (2) years of experience in face-to-face sales and/or customer service.
4. demonstrated solid knowledge in handling valuables in kind and cash.
5. previous experience in fedex scs warehouse with good knowledge of operations and key customer requirements.
minimum skills required:
1. ability to lift 34 kg and maneuver packages weighing up to 68 kg using appropriate equipment.
