overview:
the director of consumer marketing is responsible for developing and executing the mastercard marketing strategy. They also work with agencies to promote the company's products and services.
role:
1. lead the marketing department
2. develop the annual marketing plan
3. identify marketing opportunities
4. set the company's marketing vision and strategic direction
5. monitor achievement of corporate key performance indicators (kpis), and define kpis for their area of responsibility
6. implement and monitor business processes and standards to ensure a controlled global operating environment consistent with profitability standards in their area of responsibility
7. support efforts to ensure recoverability of essential business functions in the event of business disruption, including providing recommendations for modifications
8. work with technology, engineering, operations, and architecture teams to manage strategic platform roadmaps in support of product roadmaps and market expansion goals
9. manage the annual budgeting and financial strategy for their area of responsibility including initial ask
