this role must leverage input from different functional teams (such as sales, planning, and manufacturing), statistical models, customer feedback, and marketing information to derive and communicate the best possible strategic forecast and strategic roadmap across the company.also, support the decision making of product demand and industry set up decisions on an as needed basis.
*strategic demand planning associate manager*responsabilities*:- coordinates and consolidates the multi-year forecast strategy, generates and maintains the long-term demand forecasts based on demand patterns, reconciliation of statistical calculations, historic trends, sales feedback, new business information, and market updates.- analysis of hard data, business, and additional opportunities we may have.- works with the expansion team to develop a capex roadmap according to line and warehouse capacity analysis.- supports the integration of s&op with supply, commercial and financial planning processes for both short- and mid-term horizons and ensure s&op sub-processes (demand review, supply review) deliver value and meet standards.- documents and monitors business processes, business rules, metrics and standard operating procedures of improvement initiatives and supply chain.- lead continuous improvement initiatives and support training for new team members.- provide pro-active professional gap analysis of demand, financial, supply plans.
articulate risks and opportunities of current demand in short and long term plans/ s&op / 5 year plan.- able to influence cross-functional teams, working on the key priorities and improving the plan*requirements*:- bachelor's degree in economics, engineering, mathematics, supply chain or another related field, or experience in the consumer goods industry, with market knowledge.- experience in demand review, with strong knowledge in the interpretation and management of key performance indicators, knowledge in s&op (sales and operational planning) and operational processes.- high experience with supply chain planning technologies like logility, sap, oracle ascp, supply chain guru, forecast pro or similar
