*job description*:
the customs and foreign trade supervisor will be responsible for the proper and timely administration of foreign trade continental automotive guadalajara sites.
reports directly to the customs and foreign trade manager guadalajara.
required to communicate sensitive issues to people of all levels, to the level of persuade / influence others.
ensure compliant foreign trade programs declarations and renewals reporting to relevant customs authorities for méxico foreign trade programs.
idenfy risk activities and areas to create the preventive and corrective plan.
coach and lead customs & foreign trade team providing support and training regarding foreign trade topics as well as other departments within continental as necessary.
supervise and follow up customs and foreign trade central function projects and report progress to the management.
actively communicate to the management compliance status for the different certifications and programs and it is the main responsible to maintain such mechanisms active.
manage the elaboration of overview reports, worksheets and presentation to the upper management.
the cft senior supervisor is the main contact with plants to provide consultancy regarding complex operational schemes or scenarios that could
cft supervisor act as the main contact between cft and other departments to execute special projects or treat specific topics involving customs/tax burden.
ensure proper and timely coordination of programs in the field of foreign trade in which mexican automotive plants must be involved
lead and advice other areas of the plants to ensure full and timely compliance with procedures related to foreign trade
generate, submit and send reports related to its function.
ensure the proper flow of information to other areas of the plants in foreign trade
ensure cordial and productive relationship with local, state, federal correspondents filing timely all necessary foreign trade correspondence, reporting and a related material necessary to ensure automotive entities receive the maximum benefits allowable by law.
lead and advise supply chain security program to ensure necessary compliance the aeo (authorized economic operator) program guidelines and in support of cbp's c-tpat program
lead and advise the analysis of the classification of goods on as needed basis
work with continental's outside customs legal counsel-consultants to obtain legal advice as requirement/approved
lead and actively participates in tenders
*follow up of procedures regarding immex and prosec changes*: addresses, annual report, legal representative, associates and shareholders
supervise the control and administration of annex 24 and 31.
ensure compliance with seciit guidelines.

perform all other position related duties in foreign trade as assigned or requested by management

high free trade agreements knowledge

expert in automotive industry (virtual operations/ctm's)
advanced in project management

knowledge of ms office tools as well as basic knowledge in sap
