*what you will bring to the team*:
- the people partner is both a strategic and hands-on role that provides full cycle people operations support to engine room bu working directly with directors and some e-staff members. The role is critical in executing our people strategy, providing great internal customer support, and driving people functional excellence and process improvement.
*your day-to-day*:
- serves as the main point of contact of wizeliners for people matters such as policies or sensitive situations.
- consult with line management providing people guidance when appropriate.
- analyze trends and metrics in partnership with people areas of specialization to develop solutions, programs and policies.
- manage and resolve complex employee relations issues.
- maintain in depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks, and ensuring regulatory compliance. Partner with the legal department as needed/required.
- provides day-to-day performance management guidance to line management (coaching, counseling, career development, disciplinary actions).
- works closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, increase productivity and retention.
- administer compensation, benefits and performance management systems, employee relations.
- provide guidance and input on business restructures, workforce planning, succession planning.
- participate in evaluation and monitoring of success of training programs. Follow-up to ensure training objectives are met.
- determine needs and design plans to address issues related with leadership development, performance and talent management, career/succession planning and company training programs.
- guarantee the compliance of company procedures and policies.
- advise managers on organizational policy matters such as equal employment opportunity and sexual harassment, and recommend needed changes
*are you a fit?*:
- at minimum of 5 years of high-level experience in resolution of complex employee relation issues. Working knowledge of multiple people disciplines including compensation practices, organizational diagnosis, employee and labor relations, performance management, employee & team engagement and respective employment laws. Relevant industry experience is a plus.
- general knowledge about labor law for mexico
- self-starter. Ability to solve problems, take responsibility and deliver results with a spirit of innovation and strong commitment to excellence.
- ability to work with senior executives
- strong communication, influencing and interpersonal skills.
- fluency in english and spanish required (read, write and speak).
