*responsibilities*:
- take full ownership of specific commodity areas.
- drive supplier performance improvements in key kpis on-time delivery performance, quality, cost and lead time as well as inventory reduction programmed and payment terms.
- identify supplier risks, and actively manage, ensuring necessary actions are taken to mitigate the risks.
- identify true cost drivers to help deliver competitive supplier pricing.
- monitor vendor key performance indicators monthly, implementing corrective action plans where appropriate.
- identify and approve new value-adding vendors in line with business unit and corporate policies.
- work closely with supply chain and operations to ensure continuity of supply to the business.
- ensure compliance to te policies, procedures and quality standards.
- generate and analyse data and reports to show individual and supplier performance.
- produce and give presentations to suppliers and internal customers.
- support the strategic sourcing analyst as required.

or similar
- 3+ years' experience in a similar role on a multinational environment, ideally in a manufacturing company.
- strong level of english (spoken and written).
- good sap knowledge beneficial.
- mid to advanced ms excel knowledge
