*what your background should look like*:*responsibilities*:- take full ownership of specific commodity areas.- drive supplier performance improvements in key kpis on-time delivery performance, quality, cost and lead time as well as inventory reduction programmed and payment terms.- identify supplier risks, and actively manage, ensuring necessary actions are taken to mitigate the risks.- identify true cost drivers to help deliver competitive supplier pricing.- monitor vendor key performance indicators monthly, implementing corrective action plans where appropriate.- identify and approve new value-adding vendors in line with business unit and corporate policies.- work closely with supply chain and operations to ensure continuity of supply to the business.- ensure compliance to te policies, procedures and quality standards.- generate and analyze data and reports to show individual and supplier performance.- produce and give presentations to suppliers and internal customers.- support the strategic sourcing analyst as required.

or similar- 3+ years' experience in a similar role on a multinational environment, ideally in a manufacturing company.- strong level of english (spoken and written).- good sap knowledge beneficial.- mid to advanced ms excel knowledge*required skills*:- successfully working as part of a cross-functional global team.- a confident and effective negotiator.- excellent oral and written communication skills demonstrated by the ability to communicate across all levels of the organization and with suppliers.
