purpose:
arranges process engineering supply chain project plans, key milestones, and objectives to ensure engineering outputs meet customer’s operational needs and requirements.
applies key knowledge to process engineering non-conformance, subsequent corrective, and preventive actions, by documenting, investigating, and conducting root cause analysis, and successfully implementing corrective actions.
builds key performance process engineering reports to escalate to management, along with status updates relative to success in meeting critical goals and objectives.
carries out process validations on all ongoing process engineering initiatives for subsequent operational integration and supply chain implementation.
assists with process engineering technician activity, supporting and enforcing site-specific safety and industrial hygiene requirements.
communicates and escalates in a timely manner, any process engineering issues or concerns to the next management level.
understands and applies johnson & johnson’s credo and leadership imperatives in day-to-day interactions with team.

you will be responsible for:
in accordance with all applicable federal, state and local laws/regulations and corporate johnson & johnson procedures and guidelines, this position:
• identifies, designs and develops the necessary equipment.
• performs material tests.
• studies the processes to implement improvements.

• coordinates technicians and engineers about unusual problems.

• can supervise, coordinate and technically revise the work of a limited group of technicians.
• responsible for evaluating and providing feedback in a timely manner, in performance and development plans for personnel in charge.
• responsible for communicating business related issues or opportunities to next management level.
• responsible for following all company guidelines related to health, safety and environmental practices as applicable.
• for those who supervise or manage a staff, responsible for ensuring that subordinates follow all company guidelines related to health, safety and environmental practices and that all resources needed to do so are available and in good condition, if applicable.
• responsible for ensuring personal and company compliance with all federal, state, local and company regulations, policies, and procedures.

qualifications / requirements:
experience and education
• engineering, any specialty.
• master’s in science and/or certification is recommended.
• preferably 2 to 4 years in a similar position.
• preferably knowledge in the medical industry.

• knowledge of good manufacturing practices and documentation, preferably in the medical industry.
• experiment design.
