We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced senior .net developer and sql server dba to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in .net development and extensive experience with azure cloud services. This role involves designing, developing, and maintaining robust and scalable applications while ensuring optimal performance and security.
key responsibilities:
* design and development: lead the design and development of complex .net applications and services.
* database optimization & maintenance: manage sql server databases, ensuring high availability, security, and optimal performance by implementing indexing strategies, query optimization, and scheduled maintenance tasks.
* etl process development & monitoring: design, develop, and maintain etl (extract, transform, load) processes to efficiently move and transform data between systems, ensuring data integrity and performance optimization.
* code quality: write clean, maintainable, and efficient code, following best practices and coding standards.
* collaboration: work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, testers, and project managers, to deliver high-quality software solutions.
* performance optimization: identify and resolve performance bottlenecks in applications and cloud infrastructure.
* security: implement security best practices in application development and cloud architecture.
* mentorship: mentor and guide junior developers, providing technical leadership and fostering a culture of continuous learning.
* documentation: create and maintain comprehensive documentation for code, architecture, and processes.
requirements:
* experience: minimum of 7 years of experience in .net development and 4 years of experience with sql server maintenance.
* technical skills:
o proficiency in c#, asp.net, .net core, and related technologies.
o proven experience in sql server administration, optimization, and troubleshooting, including database design, performance tuning, indexing strategies, and query optimization.
o experience with restful api design and development.
* soft skills:
o excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
o strong communication and interpersonal skills.
o ability to work independently and as part of a team.
o leadership and mentoring abilities.
preferred qualifications:
* knowledge of microservices architecture and containerization (docker, kubernetes).
* familiarity with front-end technologies like html, css, javascript, and frameworks such as angular or react.
* experience with ci/cd pipelines and automated testing frameworks.
* familiarity with version control systems (e.g., git), and project management tools (e.g., jira, tfs, azure devops).
