client security officer (cso), is ideally located in mexico; however, we will consider candidates in brazil, colombia, argentina, etc. You will be a part of unisys account management team servicing its clients as cybersecurity representative alongside the client executive and the client delivery executive. The cso is the premier interaction point for client cisos and will provide strategic vision and thought leadership for cybersecurity to clients and help the account management team and the client to develop mitigation strategies to address incumbent and emerging cyber risks during the entire customer relation lifecycle.
responsibilities
* work effectively with unisys client executives, client delivery executives, and client technology officers
* develop and maintain a strategic partnership with clients cisos to understand their security needs and align security initiatives with overall business objectives
* act as a trusted advisor, providing insights and recommendations on security matters to enhance the client's security posture
* work with account management team to onboard new clients by addressing cybersecurity related activities
* develop and deliver executive level presentations for cybersecurity
* coordinate and ensure unisys delivery teams meet cybersecurity expectations as required by policy and/or contract terms
* improve or maintain cybersecurity posture with account delivery teams
* report on metrics related to cybersecurity in the context of client delivery and management
* advocate for client interests within unisys and drive unisys cybersecurity initiatives into account teams and clients
* identify and develop business opportunities related to cybersecurity in client accounts
* monitor for emerging and evolving cyberthreats
* work with unisys global information security and other unisys organizations to develop risk mitigation strategies for clients
* support unisys sales during the pre-sales activities and help develop opportunities from a cybersecurity perspective
* review and respond to rfps, client inquiries, and contract reviews
* assist in lead generation activities
* keep themselves up to date on cybersecurity industry topics
* be knowledgeable about how cybersecurity is delivered internally at unisys
you will be successful in this role if you have:
* minimum of bachelor’s degree or equivalent degree
* 10+ years of experience in cybersecurity and compliance
* 10+ years of experience in customer facing roles
* experience and ability to provide effective governance for cybersecurity activities
* solid understanding of existing and emerging concepts across all security domains
* experience across multiple business sectors
* experience in actively performing risk management, security incident response, and compliance assurance
* ability to convey complex cybersecurity and technical topics to a non-technical or business audience
* excellent portuguese, spanish and english verbal and written communication skills
* strong ability to communicate and present cybersecurity, risk and compliance matters effectively to c-level individuals
* relevant certifications such as crisc, cism, (isc)2, or cissp are highly desirable
* ability to apply regulatory, policy, and contract requirements in practical work
* analytical aptitude with an emphasis on critical thinking, balanced risk taking, and data-driven decision making
* effectively working in cross-functional and international teams
