The business development category is responsible for generating new business and for initiating and managing business development initiatives.the tasks for this role will include most of the following:establishing new business relationships and strengthening existing ones, whilst ensuring fair outcomes for all types of customers.communicating new products, propositions, and relevant market information to customers.proactively identifying sales opportunities and developing these opportunities.devising plans and strategies to generate new business, as well as increasing revenue for existing ones to achieve asset growth, sales, or revenue targets.collaborating with internal stakeholders, which may include relationship managers and product specialists, to maximize cross-selling opportunities for the bank.participating in events, initiatives, and activities to develop business opportunities.developing and implementing distribution channel business development strategies.protecting the bank's reputation and ensuring an acceptable risk profile whilst deepening your understanding of the client through credit and customer due diligence reviews.
