Manufacturing it business relationship manager
- the manufacturing it business relationship manager is a liaison between it and the operation directors in our latam region, and a trusted advisor to the regional it director and digital transformation director.
also is responsible for understanding the business operating model, assisting in the prioritization of projects, it budget calculation, ensuring that projects align with the global technology that provides maximum return on investment, and directing it strategy in support of the overall business manufacturing strategy.
- this role will be responsible for understanding the current manufacturing systems landscape and designing a roadmap that matures it towards achieving the efficiency and digital levels our latam organization is pursuing for 2027.
the leader in this position will partner collaboratively with our regional manufacturing organization and regional and global it leaders.

- primary responsibilities
- collaborate with the manufacturing operations leadership and cross-functional teams to enable a competitive advantage through the definition and implementation of the technology components that improve manufacturing operations efficiency in latam
- coordinate the erp / mes reimplementation efforts for our mexico business
- collaborate with key stakeholders in it, commercial, manufacturing and supply chain (global and regional) to achieve manufacturing facilities goals, providing end-to-end technology support to ensure value is delivered
- shape and prioritize manufacturing day-to-day business demand aligned to business strategy and expected yearly kpis
- partner with clarios smart manufacturing regional champions to speed up strategy outcomes
- advise and influence leadership and operations on technical solutions, standard integration methodologies and the alignment of business and technology
- champion change and look to improve processes by systematizing simplicity, agility, and sensible risk taking
- research emerging digital manufacturing technologies to address critical business and customer challenges
- coordinate, experiment, lead, coordinate and deliver digital initiatives across manufacturing capabilities regionally
- responsible for the deployment and continuous improvement of the manufacturing systems portfolio
- develop, implement, and continuously improve the structure and processes, related to technology and it services that support digital manufacturing transformation
- proactively identify, manage, and escalate risks across projects, work streams and programs
- work with key stakeholders to develop communication strategy, approach, and plan; including, but not limited to programs delivery cadence and benefits realization
- partner with regional hr & talent leaders to define an approach for managing change across the business in coordination with the delivery of technology projects
- promote learning in others by building relationships with cross-functional stakeholders to establish a digital manufacturing knowledge sharing cadence and challenge with externa benchmarks

- required qualifications
- graduated from an information technology career with +10 years of experience
- 5+ years of experience implementing large, complex projects in a corporate environment
- manufacturing systems experience is a must (desirable smart manufacturing)
- experience with erp/mes implementation for multi-plant companies
- ability to lead teams across the operations ecosystem within a complex, global matrixed organization and make decisions based on key business priorities
- 3+ years of experience leading innovation and strategic it projects
- ability to communicate with all levels of management in a technical and business capacity
