a globally renowned payments firm are offering the opportunity for a production support professional with 10-12+ years of experience in high-availability 24x7 payments environments to join their team.
do you have expertise in eft switch, atm, pos, cards, iso8583, and scheme integrations (visa, mastercard, amex, local schemes)? If so, we want to hear from you.
key responsibilities of the product support engineer:
1. provide operational support in a 24x7 high-availability production environment
2. troubleshoot client issues with data analysis and project review
3. apply strong problem-solving and debugging skills
4. manage production upgrades and support multiple payment technologies
5. ensure adherence to sla and ola agreements
6. handle incident and problem management in an itil framework
7. support and administer atm switch, card management, and web-based banking systems
8. support java applications and web technologies
9. work effectively in a multi-product environment
10. strong interpersonal and communication skills
key requirements for the product support engineer:
1. payments infrastructure – eft switch, atm, pos
2. cards issuance & lifecycle management
3. messaging standards – iso8583
4. scheme expertise – visa, mastercard, amex, local schemes
5. sql – basic query knowledge
