We are looking for a business analyst with a minimum of 5 years' experience working in the financial accounting domain with a focus on transfer pricing and direct tax (direct, customs, transfer pricing).
the role: we operate on a product management operative model, including general ledger and asset accounting, accounts payables, accounts receivables, tax, and travel & expenses within the financial accounting product group.
the product team comprises a range of it professionals from nestlé as well as our application management partners.
the team is working through a product model for existing applications (roadmap and backlog evolution) and through the classical it delivery phases - from requirements gathering and blueprinting through design, build, test, and deploy for new applications.
the team has global scope and responsibility.
as a business analyst, your key assignment will be to support ongoing project implementations (central finance and others); work with the tax function to gather requirements on upcoming initiatives and with different it teams to design the solution and identify improvement opportunities.
what you'll do: serve as a business analyst between the is/it and tax function.
as part of the product team, bring deep understanding to the opportunities and issues facing your business function and advise on the best solutions.
translate business strategies, opportunities, threats, and needs into is/it product requirements.
take ownership to define, drive, and deliver the technology roadmap together with the product manager, the solution architect, and the business stakeholders for the area in scope, by analyzing, documenting, and testing program development, logic, process flows, and specifications.
identify new technologies that could narrow gaps in existing functionalities, and improve or make more efficient current processes.
develop, lead, motivate, and direct staff belonging to various organizations to understand the business needs and find the best solution that will align with customer objectives and the is/it strategy.

minimum requirements: academical background in engineering, financial accounting, tax, or similar.
minimum 5 years' experience working in the financial accounting domain with a focus on transfer pricing and direct tax (direct, customs, transfer pricing).
solid knowledge of sap with a focus on transfer pricing and direct tax with record to report, controlling, and costing.
consolidated experience in implementations and designing solutions and applications.
strong stakeholders management and experience working with cross-markets in a multicultural environment.
excellent communication skills both written and spoken.
