As a construction safety officer your responsibility would be to ensure all the workers are following safety procedures
and working in a safe environment at the construction site.

*duties*:

create and implement safety plans, and conduct daily environmental and safety audits

conduct inspections on each construction site to analyze safety risks ?
educate workers on safety standards and train
them on safe work practices.

work with the management to develop, recommend and implement the solutions to safety related issues on sites.
?
investigate accidents that occur onsite and identify possible causes of the accident
?
maintain safety related paperwork and documentation of the company's safety procedures, accidents and related events
?
create, evaluate, and implement health and safety programs and strategies
?
creating and maintaining daily health and safety reports or injury logs.
*requirements*:

bachelor's degree
?
ten years' relevant experience in construction industry
?
good communications skills - the ability to communicate effectively in both oral and written.
?
good knowledge of osha standards and regulations.
?
must be able to maintain good records of all safety related activities.
?
ability to manage multiple projects and priorities at the same time while meeting deadlines
?
physical fit - must be able to climb heights using ladders or scaffolding to access the work to evaluate it.
