D&j global fashion supply chain provider is embarking on a new journey in the realm of esg. A completely new department is opening an office in mexico city, but working for all our international offices and factories.
Reporting to the vice chairman.
The role.
Build the esg department from the ground up. This will include researching and implementing; all esg policies, all reporting procedures, inaugural annual report, record all appropriate laws and regulations, keep ahead of regulatory requirements, instigate audits for suppliers, create systems of records for collecting processing, analysis and reporting of data, create formulas to measure d&j carbon footprint, plastic usage, etc for all global offices and our direct owned factories, create strategies to reduce our waste footprint, meet with clients and produce esg client reports.

Self-motivator - independent worker who does not need external motivation.
Honest - truthful and moral.
Team player - the role will be integrated with our china, l.a. U.k. H.k. Syd. and angolan teams.
Flexible - d&j is managerial, a flat organisation, meaning there will be duties requested of you outside of this scope. Travel could be part of the role in the later stages as the main esg office will be in l.a. with customer meetings and other necessary needs to be fulfilled there.
Modern computing skills including the usage of ai.
Bilingual - english is a must and mandarin would be highly regarded.
Mentally stable and a young thinker - you will need to be able to take criticism and feedback and direction as well as be a flexible problem solver able to think and create solutions on your own.
Administration mind - the mind of an artist and it’s need for creativity will not suit this role. You will need an analytical and lineal way of thinking.
Education and experience.
The right person will be intelligent and experienced, or intelligent and eager, but not hopeful, you must be able to meet the requirements above and be able to supply to d&j the needed outcomes.
