Summary
we are seeking an experienced and service-oriented recreational manager to oversee and enhance the guest experience through world-class recreational activities and wellness programs. This role is responsible for developing and managing a variety of leisure and fitness programs, ensuring that all recreational offerings align with our hotel's luxury standards. The ideal candidate will be a creative and dynamic leader with a passion for hospitality, wellness, and guest engagement.
key responsibilities:
guest experience & program development
* design and oversee a diverse range of luxury recreational activities, including fitness programs, water sports, outdoor excursions, and wellness experiences.
* ensure that all activities reflect the hotel's brand, offering exclusive, high-end, and personalized experiences.
* stay updated on industry trends to introduce innovative and engaging recreational programs tailored to our guests.
facility management & operations
* supervise the maintenance and cleanliness of all recreational areas, including pools, fitness centers, spa-adjacent facilities, and outdoor activity spaces.
* ensure all equipment is in excellent condition, meeting safety and luxury standards.
* implement and uphold health and safety regulations, ensuring a secure environment for guests and staff.
team leadership & training
* recruit, train, and manage a team of recreation and fitness professionals, ensuring top-tier service delivery.
* conduct regular training to enhance staff knowledge of luxury guest service and wellness trends.
* foster a culture of excellence, teamwork, and guest-centric service.
financial & administrative management
* develop and manage budgets for recreational programs, ensuring profitability and cost efficiency.
* identify and coordinate potential partnerships with luxury brands, fitness experts, and wellness influencers to enhance offerings.
* work closely with the marketing and guest relations teams to promote recreational services effectively.
qualifications
* bachelor’s degree in hospitality management, recreation management, sports science, or a related field.
* minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a luxury hotel, resort, or high-end hospitality setting.
* strong leadership and team management abilities.
* excellent communication, organizational, and customer service skills.
* in-depth knowledge of wellness trends, fitness programming, and luxury guest services.
* ability to work flexible schedules, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
* multilingual abilities are a plus.
