you will be responsible for complying with the cut material programs to supply the production areas, managing the human and material resources available to it, complying with previously determined quality and cost standards.
*your task will be*
- ensure compliance with plant policies and metrics.
- supervise the fulfillment of the cutting programs of the plant ensuring the predetermined cost standards.
- ensure compliance with predetermined quality levels through a statistical process control program.
- ensure the optimal use of human resources in the cutting area through the proper balancing of the assigned machines.
- is responsible, together with engineering, for the design of the most efficient work methods and the optimal use of the company's cutting equipment.
- comply with and enforce the safety policies and procedures of the plant as well as the iso 140001 and iatf 16949/iso 9001 standards, as well as legal and regulatory standards.
- responsibility and authority to stop production due to quality problems.

*to succeed in this role, you will need*
- bachelor's degree in industrial engineering / automotive engineering or comparable.
- proficient english.
- + 5 years in a similar position with experience in the automotive industry, sewing area.
- knowledge of inventory control, lean manufacturing, cutting machines (lectra, gerber).
- skills in decision making, effective communication, leadership, teamwork.
